The Lelan Douglas Bowers Scholarship Fund
With the passing of Brother Lee Bowers into Chapter Eternal, the ZK Alumni Chapter, in coordination with the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation, has established the Lelan Douglas Bowers Scholarship Fund.
A memorial to Brother Bowers, the endowment was created to support the educational mission and encourage above average scholastics within the Collegiate Chapter. One brother generously donated $1,000 as the seed money for this scholarship, with the hope that every brother will find a way to contribute to this worthy cause.

Contributions are tax-deductible!
The Sigma Nu Educational Foundation provides an opportunity to create a Chapter Scholarship Account (CSA). Once established, a CSA generates interest that can be used for scholarships for Collegiate Members without reducing the principle. As the fund grows with more contributions over time, it generates more interest and the scholarship award increases every year.
As a 501(c)(3) public charity, the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation affords donors the ability to receive tax-deductions for contributions made to these funds.

![]() Scholarship Awards After the endowment has reached $10,000, the Alumni Chapter will offer scholarships to the collegiate chapter each year. Scholarships from the endowment will only be paid out of interest earned, so the principal fund will continue to grow and support the chapter for years to come. |
